Port Harcourt is the place to be for the 2016 Africa Movie Academy Awards, set to hold on Saturday, June 11, 2016. the event will be hosted by Nigeria’s Mike Ezeuronye, and some other African celebrities th event will be considered to be the most prestigious movie industry award show
According to Vanguard, the event will be attended by top movie industry personalities from around Africa and globally.
Lai Mohammed, Nigeria’s Minister for Information and Culture, is set to lead a Federal Government delegation to the event.
As show hosts, the award event will feature Jon Germain, actor, Mike Ezeuronye, and Kgopedi Lioane, a South African radio personality.
Mr. Tony Anih, the Director of Administration of AMAA, in a statement said the 2016 edition is the 12 time the event has been held.
